AltCoinTrader to Airdrop BTT in South Africa

AltCoinTrader, an established South African Crypto Exchange is the first company in Africa to airdrop Tron’s BitTorrent (BTT) to Tron enthusiasts in the country.

Established in 2015, AltCoinTrader has been serving customers throughout the southern part of Africa and is unique in that they provide traders with access to forked coins. According to Richard De Sousa, CEO of AltCoinTrader, the exchange hopes to make cryptocurrency services accessible to communities that struggle through traditional banking systems.

Within South Africa, local exchanges with fiat on-ramps are often used to then access international exchanges for acquiring top performing cryptocurrencies. With a quickly growing demand for altcoins, AltCoinTrader is hoping to fill a gap in this market by listing the top 20 cryptocurrencies on its platform to give direct access to its traders. They plan to execute BTT airdrops every month for 6 years as a way to achieve the exchange’s vision. These airdrops will provide AltCoinTrader customers with the benefits of holding or trading Tron (TRX) on the platform.

According to De Sousa, the company has been able to easily handle the volume of transactions on the platform through having a fully automated integration with local banks. As a result, AltCoinTrader has been able to provide the best fiat-to-crypto system in the country that also supports credit card deposits for even more accessibility.

With enthusiasts looking to companies like Tron to solve real-world problems, AltCoinTrader hopes to play a meaningful part in revitalizing the cryptocurrency communities with intiatives like the BTT token airdrop.
