FBI Launches Questionnaire for BitConnect Victims

The US Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) has called out to victims of BitConnect, setting up a questionnaire for people affected by the crypto lending scheme that went bust in January 2018. The agency said the information collected would help in federal cases against what turned out to be a Ponzi scheme. In late 2018, all existing cases that targeted BitConnect were consolidated in a class action lawsuit spearheaded by Silver Miller. However, the involvement of the FBI could signal the first criminal investigation against the project.
