Cryptocurrency Market Capitalisations
In traditional markets Market Capitalization, or Market Cap, refers to the total market value of a company’s outstanding shares. In the cryptocurrencies market, the Total Market Cap is the sum of the estimated values of all cryptocurrencies. The individual Market Cap of each digital currency or cryptocurrency is calculated by multiplying the circulating supply by its price. The circulating supply is the number of units of a specific cryptocurrency available in the market.
